Join the Setutila Community

Setutila is more than a digital repository; it is a living ecosystem of seekers, scholars, and supporters dedicated to the Bhāratīya ṛṣi-paramparā. This initiative thrives through the collective effort of all who value the preservation and propagation of traditional knowledge.

There are three primary ways to participate in this journey:

1. Enriching the Corpus

As researchers, students, and practitioners of the tradition, we can collectively ensure the highest standards of textual accuracy. This repository grows through shared insights and the communal refinement of our existing digital library.

How to Suggest Refinements

If typographical errors, additional variant readings (pāṭhāntara), or missing citations are identified, they can be submitted directly through the integrated feedback system:

  1. Access: Navigate to the Login page at the top right of the website.
  2. Authenticate: Register an account and log in.
  3. Identify: Click the Comment button at the bottom right, then select Pick Element.
  4. Annotate: Highlight the specific word or sentence that requires attention.
  5. Detail: In the Write Comment box, type the suggested correction. Providing a supporting basis or manuscript reference is highly encouraged.
  6. Submit: Click Submit. The technical team reviews and synchronizes these refinements every Ekadashi.

2. Volunteering Technical Expertise

We are constantly seeking to bridge the gap between ancient texts and modern delivery. Those with backgrounds in Design, Software Engineering, or Digital Humanities can help enhance the open-source database and UI/UX. This technical seva ensures that these sacred texts remain intuitive and accessible for future generations.

3. Supporting as a Patron

The sustainability of Setutila relies on the collective generosity of the community. Financial patronage allows for the maintenance of professional scholarship standards and the digital infrastructure necessary to keep this tradition of service free and accessible to all, forever.

Connect With the Team

Whether there is a specific skill to offer or a simple desire to learn more about how to help, we look forward to connecting.
